Waiter / Waitress Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ress to join the F&B team in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray Hotel for our Signature Restaurant Zenzi on the beach. This is an Entry Level full time job. For this job the salary ranges from 3000-6000 AED/month which may be slightly negotiable during interview process.

Responsibilities of Waiter/ Waitress

• Greet guests with warm welcome and smile. Escort them to their tables. Answer inquiries about food and beverage items on the menu.
• Assist guests by explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods, where applicable.
• Be aware of allergy information on menu items and inform guests where needed or inquired.
• Deliver and serve food at tables. Use established food handling and serving techniques as per Jumeirah standard.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware as applicable
• Assist in the preparation of sufficient and clean, operating equipment prior to the commencement of service
• Maintain the table setting by clearing courses as completed, cleaning and maintaining server stations, replacing utensils, refreshing water glasses, dealing with spills, moving dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning.

Requirements of Waiter/ Waitress

• Food and alcohol handling certifications.
• Prior working experience in handling all day dining or high-volume operations.
• 1-2 years previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and a second language would be an added advantage.
