Job Description
A new Waiter/Waitress is needed for a restaurant team at a seaside resort in Ras Al Khaimah. This is on site, full -time position in a five -star installation. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of the basic principles of food and drink, it is easy to interact with customers and know how to maintain the restaurant when packed. Taking orders, recommend menu options and ensuring that everyone is satisfied, everyone is part of the job. Candidates must be able to work in the United Arab Emirates, and the experience of working in a busy restaurant or hotel is a bonus.

Responsibilities
- Take food and drink orders clearly and politely
- Recommend dishes when asked, and know what’s on the menu
- Keep track of guest needs throughout the meal
- Bring out food and drinks quickly and correctly
- Set up tables before service and clear them afterward
- Handle payments without mistakes
- Help with restocking items like cutlery, napkins, or condiments
- Make sure hygiene standards are followed
- Stay calm and collected when it’s busy
- Communicate with kitchen and bar if something is out of stock
- Remember regular guests and make them feel welcome
- Assist teammates when there’s a rush
- Stay updated on specials and promotions
- Mention guest feedback or issues to the supervisor
- Be part of the overall guest experience, not just food delivery
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Basic school education .
Experience
At least 1 year working in a restaurant or hotel is ideal
Skills
- Clear communication, especially in English
- Good memory for orders and faces
- Can stay steady when the restaurant is full
- Friendly but professional with guests
- Works well in a team without needing reminders
Knowledge
- Food safety and hygiene basics
- How to serve professionally
- Common dietary needs and how to handle them
- Familiar with point-of-sale systems
- Knows how a restaurant team functions during service
