Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Waiter (Food & Beverage). The aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Al Naseem in Dubai. This job has been posted by Jumeirah Group on 2nd October 2023 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of A Waiter

To provide excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience in a restaurant or establishment.

Duties of A Waiter

• Provide knowledgeable, friendly, professional and efficient F&B Service to all guests ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in a manner consistent with Jumeirah standards.
• Maintain efficient workflow by adhering to the Sequence of Service and all timeframes and standards detailed in relevant SOPs in the F&B Standards Manual.
• Identify and take all opportunities to enhance the quality of service (upselling, guest recognition, resort knowledge).
• Prepare outlet for service utilizing the checklist and as instructed through briefings.
• Maintain good knowledge of the menu to answer questions the guests may have.
• Accurately take & process orders. Serve & clear food and drinks within required timeframes.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High School Diploma.

Experience

• Two years of restaurant experience in a 5-star hotel.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of Food and Beverage applications.
• Basic Computer Knowledge.
• Accustomed to handling customer complaints.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, fluent in English.
• Able to work with emotional intelligence during the guest interaction to anticipate and fulfil the guests needs.
• Should be able quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
