Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Waiter/ess Imperium. The selected candidate will offer table service in the Imperium dining setting, ensuring guest satisfaction and adhering to specific service standards. Responsibilities of Waiter/ess

• Greet guests with warm welcome and smile. Escort them to their tables. Answer inquiries about food and beverage items on the menu.
• Assist guests by explaining how various menu items are prepared, describing ingredients and cooking methods, where applicable.
• Be aware of allergy information on menu items and inform guests where needed or inquired.
• Deliver and serve food at tables. Use established food handling and serving techniques as per Jumeirah standard.
• Prepare tables for meals, including setting up items such as linens, silverware, and glassware as applicable.
• Assist in the preparation of sufficient and clean, operating equipment prior to the commencement of service
• Maintain the table setting by clearing courses as completed, cleaning and maintaining server stations, replacing utensils, refreshing water glasses, dealing with spills, moving dishes and glasses from tables or counters, take them to kitchen for cleaning.

Requirements of Waiter/ess

• Minimum a high school.
• Food and alcohol handling certifications
• 2+ years experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and a second language would be an added advantage.
