Waiter/ess Food and Beverage Jumeirah Emirates Towers

Jumeirah Emirates Towers is presently hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of Waiter/ess. The job holder will serve food and drinks to guests, ensures quality service, and maintains cleanliness in the dining area. This vacancy was announced by the company on 17 January 2024 and is open to receive applications.

Responsibilities of Waiter/ess

• Provides a link between kitchen and service areas.
• Provides table and or counter service of alcoholic / non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provides advice on food and beverage to guests
• Receives and stores food and beverage adhering to all food hygiene regulations and procedures.
• Consistently monitors quality of food and beverage being served, and report to the supervisor or assistant  outlet manager.
• To anticipate and serve guests requirements before requests is necessary.
• To be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriate garnishes.
• To complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standar
• To report any accident or guest complaint immediately, no matter how minor, to a manager
•  Provides table and or counter service of all menu items.
• To recognize and address potential disruptive or undesirable guests.
• To classify buffets, displays or side stations
• To provide unobtrusive and professional service in accordance with our sequence.
• To provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant operation.
• Updates food and beverage knowledge required to carry out duties
• To identify potential problems and ask for assistance before a breakdown occurs.
• To provide lateral service within the hotel whenever needed.
• Actively uses up-selling techniques to exceed guests’ expectations and increase revenue

Requirements of Waiter/ess

• Minimum High School.
•  2 years of working experience in a similar role in a luxury five-star hotel environment.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• You will have excellent written and spoken English skills, additional language is advantage.
• Knowledge of hotel operating systems is a must..
• Should be able to quickly learn and adapt to a new work environment.
