Duties of Vocational Teacher IT Multimedia

• Delivering lectures, conducting practical sessions, and supervising projects in IT Multimedia subjects like graphic design, animation, web development, video editing, audio production, etc.
• Developing and maintaining course materials that align with the curriculum and industry standards.
• Assessing student progress through tests, assignments, and presentations.
• Providing individual and group feedback to help students improve their skills and knowledge.
• Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the IT Multimedia field and incorporating them into the curriculum.
• Advising students on career paths and helping them develop portfolios and prepare for job interviews.
• Providing pastoral care and support to students facing academic or personal challenges.
• Mentoring students and encouraging them to reach their full potential.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Vocational Teacher IT Multimedia are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia /Animation/Movie Production/Graphics and Related subjects.
• Master’s degree and/or PhD in discipline or related preferred.
• Teaching/Assessor Qualification (PGCE, PTLLS, DTLLS, Cert.Ed.)
• 3 years teaching / training /assessing experience in a reputed vocational, further education or higher education institute.
