Responsibilities of Vocational Learning Head

• To set up and maintain system for, and make amendments to, course approvals.
• To be the central point of contact for external verifiers/examiners.
• To support staff in preparing for and managing external verification.
• To monitor and record progress against actions specified by external verifiers/moderators.
• To report on the outcomes of external verification reports.
• To provide updates for staff on changes to awarding body requirements.
• To attend EV visits as required.
• To ensure BTEC and other vocational programmed are led effectively .

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Vocational Learning Head are as under:

• Master’s degree in a relevant vocational field (e.g. Engineering, Hospitality, Healthcare, Information Technology) or Education with emphasis on vocational education.
• Minimum 4 year experience in similar role.
