Job Purpose of A Visual Merchandiser

• To create visually appealing displays and arrangements in retail environments, attracting customers and promoting products or brands while optimizing the use of space and design aesthetics.
• They play a critical role in enhancing the overall shopping experience and driving sales through effective visual presentation.

Duties of A Visual Merchandiser

• To deliver and maintain exemplary standards of visual merchandising including promotion, recommendations and implementation.
• Work with the Store Managers and their teams to lay out effective store and window displays within the company and brand guidelines.
• Execute all applicable loss prevention procedures.
• Maintain a safe and productive shopping and working environment.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, coaching and motivation of store team members to maximize their performance.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Qualification in Visual Merchandising or Art & Design are an advantage.
• Minimum High School Diploma.

Experience

• At least 2 years’ retail visual merchandising experience. 

Skills Desired

• Good planning and organisational skills.
• The ability to apply sound brand principles to projects and campaigns.
• Computer literate.
