Job Description

The Department of Accounting at American University of Sharjah invites applicants for a Visiting Assistant Professor faculty position in accounting. The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the department’s teaching, research activities and service. While they welcome applications from academics with a variety of accounting backgrounds. The salary is competitive, commensurate with experience, and tax free in the UAE. Free housing, paid utilities and other attractive benefits are provided. A successful candidate should be able to teach at both the undergraduate and graduate level.

Job Requirements of Visiting Assistant Professor

The requirements for the job role of Visiting Assistant Professor are as under:

All candidates must have a PhD degree in accounting from an AACSB accredited university, preferably North American.
Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
Assistant professors must have evidence of publications and promising research potential.
