Responsibilities

  • Guide staff and students to maintain a safe, orderly school.
  • Oversee the school’s assessment and monitoring schedule.
  • Work with the Principal to evaluate teachers and support staff.
  • Help screen and interview candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles.
  • Lead efforts to improve student achievement per school plans and ADEK rules.
  • Manage the MAP/Exact Path student achievement program.
  • Set up progress-based testing schedules with assessment coordinators.
  • Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Support new teaching methods and materials with the leadership team.
  • Plan staff training to boost teaching quality.
  • Submit required reports and data on time.
  • Meet with staff to promote teamwork and school goals.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by the Principal.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s in Education or Leadership (e.g., NPQH).
  • 6 years of teaching experience, including 4 years with appraisals showing high performance, and 2 years in a middle leadership role.
