Vice President Technical & Operational Learning at Emirates Airlines in Garhoud Area opposite to Airport Terminal 3, Dubai, UAE will be required to lead, oversee and govern the end to end technical and operational learning solutions across the Emirates Group. The role will be responsible for developing and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance the technical and operational capabilities of Emirates Group employees. This role ensures that all training initiatives align with the strategic goals of the organization, support regulatory requirements and foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 30000-60000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Vice President

  • Lead Strategy Development: Develop and execute a strategic vision for operational and technical training across the Emirates Group. Align training programs with the company’s strategic objectives and operational needs.
  • Design and implement a technical skills academy strategy and structure to enable the long-term vision of The Emirates Group. Oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for technical and operational staff.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Oversee continuous needs analyses to ensure agile alignment to business strategic priorities and design tailored programmes accordingly. Stay abreast of industry trends and incorporate best practices into training programs.
  • Oversee Regulatory and Compliance Learning: Work closely with regulatory bodies and business stakeholders to ensure all training programs meet required standards. Ensure training solutions are relevant, and compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive Innovation: Leverage cutting-edge training technologies and methodologies to enhance learning
    Partner with Digital Learning Experience to ensure consistency in experience standards and pedagogical approach to facilitated and digital learning experiences.
  • Ensure Governance: Ensure all training programs adhere to the highest standards of quality and compliance. Conduct regular audits and reviews of training processes and outcomes. Govern the quality and compliance of business embedded training units, providing them guidance and support to ensure they are aligned to learning experience standards and relevant regulatory requirements. Build and maintain strong relationships with external training providers and industry experts.
  • Lead a Team: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of training professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that promotes excellence and accountability
  • Learning Impact and Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through performance metrics and feedback, strengthening learning solutions as necessary. Implement corrective actions and improvements based on audit findings and feedback.

Requirements for Role of Vice President

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent qualification in a Human Resources related field, preferably in training and development
  • 12+ years professional experience in Learning Leadership and Human Resources in a large organisation.
  • Expertise and relevant experience in curriculum and programe design and implementation.
  • Experience in evaluation and governance of learning programes.
  • A professional HR certification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM) is highly desirable.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

Strong in relationship management and engagement with external consultants.
