Job Purpose of A Senior Vice President

Lead the development of Mubadala Foundation’s strategy for the creation of a strong, sustainable, and innovative CSR ecosystem in UAE (Abu Dhabi) & international markets where Mubadala operates, through development of comprehensive and integrated CSR programs in line with leadership directives, Mubadala corporate vision and strategy, SDGs and Abu Dhabi Government agenda.

Job Duties of A Senior Vice President

  • Provide CSR thought leadership & advisory, oversee development of strategic reports & studies such as strategic plan, future foresight, benchmarks and ecosystem assessment.
  • Supervise Mubadala Foundation projects performance and monitor progress as per the established objectives and metrics.
  • Lead management of strategic cycles and prepare for upcoming cycles by conducting advanced analysis of the CSR ecosystem and its stakeholders before the end of each cycle.
  • Develop performance & impact assessment related report & performance enhancement recommendations with partners / stakeholders.
  • Submit report / recommendations to line manager or joint task forces or oversight committees with partners.
  • Develop Foundation’s Impact Assessment Report based on social, environmental and sustainability targets & strategic priorities.
  • Produce annual impact reports of the Foundation’s engagements and other adhoc reports as needed.
  •  Be the custodian of all signed agreements, and facts and figures related to the Foundation and its engagements.
  • Conduct project compliance reviews and assessments in conjunction with relevant internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with external service providers/ consultants for the execution of audit and impact assessment activities as required.
  • Ensure that qualitative and quantitative assessments, surveys, research and studies are conducted in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders and research service providers.
  • Develop programs in collaboration with stakeholders to create positive impacts in the communities where Mubadala operates.
  • Master the use of strategic planning tools such as SWOT and PESTLE analysis and other relevant tools.
  • Prepare MF’s budget in alignment with respective annual business planning guideline & management direction.
  • Monitor function’s financial performance vis-à-vis the budget to ensure alignment with set budget guidelines, identify areas of unsatisfactory performance & recommend performance improvement opportunities.

What You’ll Do More?

  • Ensure collaboration on the development of CSR ecosystem within Abu Dhabi and wherever MIC operates.
  • Ensure partnership and collaboration on matters of mutual interests/benefits internally and externally.
  • Ensure building partnerships with potential local and international stakeholder for collaboration opportunities and forging collaboration with private and public sectors in order to support the Social Responsibility ecosystem in the UAE and communities where MIC is active.
  • Prepare all function reports in a comprehensive and timely manner.
  • Present regular and adhoc management reports on new opportunities, highlight critical issues and challenges and provide strategic insight to inform key decision making.

Eligibility Criteria?

Qualification

  • Essential: Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent.
  • Preferred: Post graduate degree such as MBA from internationally recognized university.

Experience

  • Minimum of 13 years of experience in progressively more complex and senior level roles in Strategic Management.
  • At least 7 years of experience in a managerial position.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of Mubadala Investment Company corporate responsibility and ESG framework, policies, processes and tools.
  • Understand Mubadala Foundation strategy and its contribution to Mubadala’s objectives.
  • Ensure that all services are delivered to agreed standards and are achieving their objectives.
