Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis RAKBANK

RAKBANK is presently recruiting suitably qualified and skilled candidate for the role of Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis. The role holder is responsible to lead the financial planning and analysis activities, providing strategic insights, overseeing budgeting and forecasting processes, and supporting key financial decisions to drive the bank’s financial performance and growth.

Responsibilities of Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis

• Lead the Management Reporting function for the bank.
• Develop and manage financial budgets, medium term and long-term forecasts to align with the organizational goals and objectives.
• Support strategic decision making through analytical insights.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align financial strategies with overall business objectives.
• Evaluate and support the financial aspects of new product launches, ensuring viability and profitability.
• Monitor and maintain Risk-Adjusted Return on Capital (RORAC) and Risk Adjusted Return on Equity (RAROC) metrics.
• Establish and operationalize a strong, automated and timely MIS to support informed decision making.

Requirements of Vice President Financial Planning & Analysis

• Preferred certifications are CPA or CFA.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the banking sector.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Proven track record in developing and implementing financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools.
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team.
