Job Description

Abu Dhabi Ports presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Vessel Officer at Noatum Maritime in Abu Dhabi. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 4000-7000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process. Desirous candidates fulfilling under mentioned criteria are encouraged to submit their applications.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate port calls for vessels, including scheduling arrivals and departures, berth assignments, and pilotage arrangements.
  • Liaise with port authorities, terminal operators, customs, and other relevant parties to ensure compliance with regulations and smooth execution of port operations.
  • Monitor vessel movements and provide timely updates to clients regarding the status of their vessels.
  • Resolve operational issues and challenges in a proactive and efficient manner, minimizing disruptions to vessel operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of vessel activities, cargo movements, and port charges, ensuring compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Requirements for Role of Vessel Officer

  • Diploma/Associate Degree in Nautical Science, Marine Engineering, or a related maritime discipline.
  • 2 years as a Deck Officer or in a similar role, preferably in maritime logistics or shipping.
