Job Description
GMG is a global well-being company retailing, distributing and manufacturing a portfolio of leading international and home-grown brands across sport, everyday goods, health and beauty, properties and logistics sectors. Currently they are looking to hire Vendor Management Specialist in Dubai.
Responsibilities of Vendor Management Specialist
- Vendor Management Program: Performs strategic sourcing, selection, accreditation and on-boarding of vendors for the Company.
- Conducts supplier on-boarding prior awarding of projects to vendors.
- Establish Vendor development programs to cultivate reliable and strategic partnership.
- Performs vendor performance management.
- Contracts Management/Negotiation: Initiates contract negotiation with the vendor and ensure all vendor is covered by a contract.
- Performs vendor contract monitoring and safekeeping.
Risk Management: Perform vendor risk assessment/profiling to mitigate possible risks in the supply chain. - Ethics Compliance including Social Responsibility requirements: Drives Ethics Compliance including Social Responsibility requirements
Ensure Ethics compliance within Internal procurement.
Procurement Policies and Procedures: Support in the preparation and maintenance of Procurement Documented Information. - Support in developing process efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance to policies/procedures.
Requirements for Role of Vendor Management Specialist
- Bachelors degree in supply chain, procurement or finance.
- 5- 10 years of experience in procurement vendor management and operations.
- CIPS or other relevant certifications.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
Excellent Vendor Management skills preferable from retail background
