Truck/Heavy Duty Technician (Mechanic Level-2)  at Al Nabooda Automobiles is responsible to diagnose, repair & service range of Volkswagen vehicles in accordance with principal work specifications ensuring each customer receives excellent customer service. Role holder also has to ensure that work is completed to the highest possible standard and within agreed timescales to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities of Truck/Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician

• Diagnosing: Using diagnostic equipment and a systemic approach, diagnose and rectify the vehicles faults.
• Check level and quality of work through use of diagnostic equipment and road testing vehicles after completion of work of vehicles.
• Liaise with Service Advisor to advise on additional work and timescales for completion.
• Work with other workshop and Service Advisors colleagues to provide excellent customer service, share best practice.
• Repairs: Overhaul, repair and re assemble complex mechanical components as required, carrying out work to the highest possible standard and within agreed timescales.
• Identify and correct any wheel alignment problems.
• Warranty: Identify any work required by the warranty process, complete all its documentation, coordinate with warranty department.
• Complete relevant service documentation (Job sheets, PDI’s, Service Report) in line with warranty and dealer requirements.
• Operational: Maintain workshop housekeeping standards at all times including the use of special and personal tools.
• Carry out all work observing safe working practices of self and others.
• Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for communication of ideas for improvement in processes or cost savings.

Requirements for Role of Truck/Heavy Duty Vehicle Technician

• Diploma or certification or technical training course in truck/heavy duty vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• 2 year of experience in similar role.
