EDGE Group is actively hiring suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the job role of a Transmission Supervisor. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at AL TAIF Company (subsidiary of EDGE Group). Responsibilities of Transmission Supervisor

• Provide supervision of all assigned Mechanic(s), Transmission and Mechanic(s), Component Repair within the Overhaul Workshop.
• Ensure that all transmission, gearbox, transfer case and/or differential maintenance inspections are accomplished in accordance with all technical manuals, KPIs and OEM specifications.
• Oversee quality maintenance repairs as part of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System program.
• Responsible for transmission, gearbox, transfer case and/or differential maintenance inspections to determine the extent of repair and spare parts requirements.
• Oversee and assist in the development of transmission, gearbox, transfer case and/or differential CM job plans.
• Assist in the development, execution, revision and enforcement of all maintenance directives within the Overhaul Workshop.
• Oversee the replacement of a variety of gears, shafts, disks, shims, bearings, seals, gaskets, preformed packings etc outfitted to a variety of transmissions, gearboxes, transfer cases and/or differentials.
• Oversee the inspection, machining, rebuild, overhaul, repair and dynamometer testing of a variety of transmissions, gearboxes, transfer cases and/or differentials.
• Oversee and complete maintenance related documentation such as maintenance tasks accomplished, direct labour hours consumed, vehicle specific information, spare part request forms, etc.
• Comply with and enforce all safety, housekeeping and environmental directives.

Requirements for role of Transmission Supervisor

The eligibility requirements for role of Transmission Supervisor are as under:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering.
• A minimum of three years of experience performing repair and/or overhaul of transmissions, gearboxes, transfer cases and/or differentials.
• A minimum of two years of experience supervising and/or managing repair and/or overhaul of transmissions, gearboxes, transfer cases and/or differentials.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and ISO methodologies, practices and processes in a Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) setting is an advantage.
• Knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office software and SAP.
