Traffic Detour Engineer Emirates Transport Abu Dhabi

Emirates Transport is in search of diligent and motivated Traffic Detour Engineer to join their Roadside Assistance Business Unit in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, studying, and analyzing plans, designing traffic detours, and measuring the impact of detours on traffic flow, journey time, congestions, transportation performance review, and KPI measuring. This is a mid level full time role. For this position salary can range between 10000 to 20000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of A Traffic Detour Engineer

• Review Traffic Engineering Plans & Designs.
• Prepare Traffic Engineering Studies.
• Analyze traffic and transportation performance reviews and approve traffic detour submissions.
• Conduct Field Visits, Traffic Circulation plans Reviews.
• Approval Compliance Validations.
• Addressing Public Complaints and preparing detailed reports.
• KPI calculation and updates.
• Support in issuing traffic detour permits and traffic simulation modeling.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Traffic Detour Engineer are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil engineering, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in a traffic detour and traffic engineering domain.

• Familiar with modeling software such as Synchro, Vissim, SIDRA.
