Trade Marketing Manager AstraZeneca Dubai

Trade Marketing Manager at AstraZeneca in Dubai Science Park Complex 1, Al Barsha, Al Barsha South, Dubai, United Arab Emirates is responsible for all private channel related commercial activities including, activity planning and monitoring, alignment with commercial teams, implementation of Joint Business Plans and leading development & implementation of overall channel commercial strategies. The incumbent will also be responsible for developing market insight details for effective decision making and also to support sales team and controls for effective monitoring of our business.  This is a Senior level and full time role with salary ranges from 12000 AED to 250000 AED per month.

Responsibilities of Trade Marketing Manager

  • Effectively negotiate mutually beneficial solutions with various stakeholders and influence key decision-makers ( internal and external ) to improve competitiveness of brands and gain share.
  • Lead the development and implementation of Business Plans with key customers to elevate AZ’s partnership to a strategic level for short and long term gains.
  • Identify and monitor competitors and market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales.
  • Prioritize channel activities for maximum returns.
  • Develop strategies and activities that help the company become the supplier of choice.
  • Monitor activities at the trade channel levels for the gathering of insight and also to track aligned activities with the accounts.
  • Establish and manage business insights and business analytics for fact based decision making.
  • Manage the process for oversight of customer inventory for top SKU’s and identify opportunities and risk.
  • Developing effective governance to monitor trade management process as per the SOP’s.
  • Providing feedback and CFT alignment.
  • Outstanding customer orientation and responsiveness.
  • Strong ability to build sustainable relationships, ability to communicate efficiently on all levels.

  • Ensure all activities in line with related SOPs, policies and local regulation.

Requirements for Role of  Trade Marketing Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in pharmaceutical sales.
  • Previous experience in retail and commercial operation is preferable.
  • Preferable prior experience in multi-national pharmaceutical/equivalent companies.
