Job Description
NAFFCO is currently seeking to hire a candidate for the job role of a Trade Finance Specialist in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 4500-6500 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process. Responsibilities of Trade Finance Specialist
- Analyze and assess bank guarantee applications to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies, minimizing risk for the bank.
- Prepare and review documentation related to bank guarantees, ensuring accuracy and completeness before submission to relevant parties.
- Coordinate with clients, internal teams, and external banks to facilitate the timely issuance and amendment of bank guarantees.
- Monitor and manage bank guarantee transactions, tracking expiration dates and ensuring timely renewals or cancellations when necessary.
- Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in trade finance to enhance service offerings and compliance.
- Resolve disputes and issues related to bank guarantees efficiently by liaising with relevant stakeholders and providing solutions.
- Prepare reports and presentations on bank guarantee performance and trends to support management decision-making.
Requirements for Role of Trade Finance Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field; a master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in trade finance, with a strong focus on bank guarantees and international trade.
- Experience in a banking environment or financial institution that specializes in trade finance products is a plus.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Proficient in using trade finance software and banking systems to manage processes and documentation effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in managing documentation and transactions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
