Responsibilities of Track Operative

• Undertakes preventive, corrective, emergency maintenance and repair works as required, in the following fields:
• Spot re-railing.
• Spot re-sleepering.
• Cutting rail.
• Turnout replacement and repair.
• Sand removal.
• Other general track maintenance activities.

• To comply with those elements of the Etihad Rail Operating Companies environment, health and safety management system and other company documents where specific responsibility is identified with the role or as a general requirement on all employees. 

Security Responsibilities

Requirements of Track Operative

Academic Qualifications

• School Certificate or equivalent.

Professional Qualifications

• Recognized knowledge of track maintenance.
• Full driving license.

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.

Skills and Abilities Desired

• English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skills.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team.
