Total Rewards Officer at DP World will be responsible to coordinate and ensure proper and timely delivery of Payroll services to the Corporate Head Office through providing support and management of payroll administration. Run payroll reconciliation reports, timely management of queries regarding employee benefits, implementation of Group People policies within the business, and the provision of general Group People advice to management and employees. Add value to the overall department by enhancing its procedures and achieving customer service goals.

Responsibilities of Total Rewards Officer

  • Possess functional knowledge of the payroll systems of DP World and contributes/uses expertise to incorporate salary inputs for employees.
  • Supports payroll activities and benefits in the system for Top Management and below employees.
  • Maintains the organizations’ payroll records and ensures all required payroll records are accurately maintained in the legally required time frame.
  • Coordinate and communicate with Payroll and/or Finance all requests for reimbursements and payments after reviewing employee contract and entitlement for TM and below employees in line with policy.
  • To process in an efficient manner the benefits administration and payroll run for TM and Non-TM employees in DP World HO.
  • Review and audit the ‘general’ payroll changes for accuracy on a monthly basis prior to the payroll run and follow up on any outstanding areas to be completed.
  • Ensure payroll set up for new TM and Non-TM management employees including the update of salary details.
  • Final settlement payments for TM and Non-TM management employees and liaising with payroll to process final settlement and release of retention amount.
  • Inform staff and relevant internal sections of changes to payroll as and when required.
  • Assist with the approvals for Payroll recharges by liaising with the Finance and the Regions as and when required.
  • Support the Oracle FUSION testing process for all Payroll activities for the Non-TM and TM employees by liaising with Group Tech, Group Payroll and the necessary stakeholders.
  • Produce the STIP, LTIP and Pay Review letters for Head Office employees based on template provided by Group SVP Total Rewards.
  • Payment of STIP and LTIP for all DPW grades being managed by DPW Head Office for active employees as well as leavers.
  • Payments to be made to the Non-TM and TM employees during the on and off cycle for any Promotions/Band Progressions or Salary Adjustment cases.

What You’ll Do More?

  • Troubleshoot problems with Oracle HRMS and Oracle FUSION for employees wherever possible or work on effectively solving the problem with concerned parties.
  • Responsible for solving employee benefit/remunerations related queries by responding to queries personally or directing employees to the most appropriate resource for resolution.
  • Proactively identify areas of concern  in the Group People, day to day operations to effectively manage customer expectations.
  • Prepare or maintain employment records as and when required using effective file records (both hard and soft format).
  • Prepare contractual and salary documentation and letters as and when required.
  • Managing the accuracy and integrity of all information relating to employee personnel files.
  • Act as cover for Group Assistant Manager Total Rewards whilst on leave.
  • Assist Total Rewards team in all Rewards projects.
  • Prepare documentation and presentations and conduct research and analysis as and when needed.
  • Support the Group SVP and team with activities including administration and coordination with regional and head office colleagues.
  • Promote and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with DP World’s values and culture.
  • Ensure that the highest levels of safety are applied in all activities.
  • Understand and adhere to DP World’s Code of Conduct and Ethics policies.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of Total Rewards Officer are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in an HR-related role, including administration and operations of systems and procedures, including payroll and compensation and benefits.

Skills & Knowledge Desired
