Threat & Risk Assessment Manager Emirates Airlines

Emirates Airlines is presently hiring skilled candidate for job role of Threat & Risk Assessment Manager in Dubai. The role holder will be responsible for identifying, analyzing, and proactively addressing the continuous evolution of direct and indirect security risks impacting the expansive global operations and assets of the Emirates Group. The role holder is also responsible for developing and implementing robust mitigation strategies that ensure the Group’s ability to operate and expand securely while upholding and advancing its stringent security standards.

Duties of Threat & Risk Assessment Manager

• Manage and guide the Threat and Risk Assessment team to properly analyse, assess and effectively. Mitigate security risks identified through various information sources.
• Develop and maintain a security risk management framework/ methodology, based on best industry practices and international AVSEC standards, which can be incorporated in the EK Aircraft Operator Security Programme & Security Management System (AOSP & SeMS).
• Integrate quantifiable security risk assessments and change management principles into the relevant and applicable elements of Group Security’s processes.
• Create and maintain active security risk profiles for each destination and country of operation, including those overflown.
• Provide strategic counsel to Group Security and Emirates (EK) management regarding the development of security scenarios. Promptly identifying shifts in security risk levels, and proposing tailored mitigation strategies accordingly.
• Perform comprehensive pre-launch security risk assessments aimed at recognizing potential threats and vulnerabilities in potential destinations. Evaluating the inherent security risk levels for each, and delivering detailed findings.
• Liaise with other group security sections and EK departments to implement security measures. Controls that reduce the initial risk to acceptable levels.
• Consistently assess and appraise the efficiency of mitigation measures and controls implemented at stations identified as high-risk to ensure their ongoing effectiveness.
• Represent Emirates Group Security at industry forums, committees and associations pertaining to aviation security risk management, including the IATA Geo-political Risk Task Force (GRTF), US Overseas Advisory Council (OSAC).

Requirements for Role of Threat & Risk Assessment Manager

The requirements for the job role of Threat & Risk Assessment Manager are as under:

• A Degree or Diploma in law, economics, criminal justice, computer science, IT, forensics.
• 8 years’ experience in Security Investigations / Crime Detection.
• Experience in the field of airline fraud detections and prevention.
