Responsibilities of Test Engineer Channels

• Develop and implement automation test strategies and plans for web and mobile channels, ensuring comprehensive coverage and efficient testing processes.
• Work closely with Test CoE partners to provide accurate effort estimates and project schedules for various digital projects and squad-based deliveries.
• Utilize hands-on expertise with channel testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, etc., to create and execute automated test scripts.
• Conduct device cloud and real device-based testing to ensure optimal coverage across various devices and platforms.
• Collaborate with development, product, and business teams to understand requirements, define test cases, and ensure the quality of digital channel applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of test engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
• Build QA dashboards for channel testing, providing insightful metrics and reports for various executives to monitor testing progress and application quality.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment between testing efforts and business goals.
• Actively participate in the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

Requirements of Test Engineer Channels

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of proven experience as a Test Engineer with a focus on digital channels, including web and mobile applications.
• Hands on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, Playwright, Cypress, etc.
• Experience with device cloud and real device based testing to ensure comprehensive coverage across various devices and platforms.
• Experience working with Test CoE partners to provide effort estimates and project schedules.
