Job Description
Technical Training Specialist at Flydubai will be responsible to conduct and supervise all technical training requirements of flydubai’s Approved Maintenance Training Organization (AMTO) ensuring that they meet the required standard stipulated by GCAA, EASA and/or the Company.
Responsibilities of Technical Training Specialist
- Plans, conducts and supervises theoretical and practical training in the relevant subjects.
- Conducts trainee exams and assessments.
- Develops and updates new aircraft maintenance training courses as per CAR/Part 66 syllabuses, airworthiness regulatory courses and flydubai requirements.
- Writes new exams questions and assessments related to aircraft maintenance training courses as per CAR/Part 66 syllabuses, airworthiness regulatory courses and flydubai requirements.
- Liaises with manufacturers for the update of all training methodology and contents of the syllabus.
- Secures all examination questions in accordance with flydubai Maintenance Training Organization (MTOE) and procedures.
- Ensures that training equipment and facilities are properly maintained and operational.
- Maintains accurate records of trainees’ attendance, progress and grades.
- Provides guidance and support to trainees in their professional development.
- Participates in the development and revision of flydubai MTOE and related procedures.
- Provides expertise, as a subject matter expert, to the development and revision of the annual training program.
- Collaborates with other trainers and stakeholders to ensure effective delivery of the training program.
- Informs Management of any compliance and safety concurrency happened during instructional duties.
- Remains up to date with new teaching methods and technologies.
- Keep current with all UAE GCAA and European EASA regulations in respect of training requirements of airworthiness related staff and maintains necessary training certifications.
- Analyses and assesses the feasibility of delivering paid courses to third parties
Requirements for Role of Technical Training Specialist
- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering.
- CAR/Part 66 license supported by previous company approvals as certifying or support staff. (B737 or B787 endorsement preferred).
- 7 years experience in in technical training, preferably in aerospace engineering.
- Relevant 147 experience documented by previous company approvals.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- IT Literate with good MS Word, Excel and Power point and Acrobat skills.
- Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops and simulations).
