National Oilwell Varco (NOV) presently has a job opening for eligible candidate for the position of a Technical Sales Manager in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan, building, and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Job Duties of Technical Sales Manager

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy for fiberglass tubing within the Middle East oil and gas industry.
  • Leveraging their technical knowledge to engage with prospective clients, understand their unique requirements, and propose tailored solutions.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to achieve revenue targets and establish a strong market presence.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local drilling companies and end-users.
  • Conducting market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the industry.
  • Preparing and delivering compelling presentations to clients and key stakeholders.
  • Traveling throughout the Middle East to meet with clients and promote our products.
  • Providing feedback to the product development team to ensure our offerings remain competitive and meet customer needs.

Job Requirements For Technical Sales Manager

The eligibility requirements for the role of Technical Sales Manager are as under:

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience 

  • 10-15 years of experience in the drilling or completions sector of the oil and gas industry.
  • Experience in Downhole Oil and Gas Market.
  • In-depth technical knowledge of drilling and completions processes in the oil and gas industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Proven track record in technical sales, with a strong understanding of drilling and completions.
  • Experience with fiberglass tubing is an asset.
  • Exceptional written and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a sales team.
  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within the Middle East.
