Michael Page is currently hiring a Technical Lead for online booking platform, which is an early stage start-up with big ambitions to disrupt, organise and legitimise a $144 Billion industry. This web-based platform will service a user base that is growing exponentially, enabling them to connect with an emerging industry at the forefront of comprehensive human wellness. Role holder will spearhead the development and technical strategy for innovative online platform & should have prior experience leading MVP development in a start-up environment. 

Responsibilities of Technical Lead

• Develop and own the technology strategy aligned with the overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with the founders on product strategy, budgeting, and long-term planning.
• Define the technical architecture, frameworks, and tools to be used.
• Take a hands-on approach to leading the development of the MVP.
• Ensure timely high-quality delivery of milestones and objectives.
• Ensure thorough documentation of code, architecture, and technical decisions.
• Help in developing the vision of the tech team and assist in hiring initial tech roles.
• Implement agile methodologies, optimise workflows and manage third-party vendors.

Requirements of Technical Lead

• Bachelors or Master degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field.
• 3+ years of proven track record in a senior technical leadership role within a consumer facing online platform.
• Experience in leading development of MVPs and bringing products from concept to market.
• Candidates with prior experience within health-tech or booking platforms will have a strong advantage.

Skills And Abilities Desired

• Expert with agile development methodologies and SDLC.
• Ability to think strategically and align technology strategies with overall business goals.
• Expert knowledge of modern technology stacks with ability to pick the right tool for the job.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and databases and how this impacts product performance.
