Tech Product Specialist Trade Finance at Mashreq Bank Dubai is responsible to drive the evolution and deployment of corporate trade solutions across Mashreq – UAE, IBG countries. This is a senior level and full time role and for this job the salary ranges from 25000 AED to 35000 AED.

Responsibilities of Tech Product Specialist Trade Finance

  • Build and lead the development and delivery of the Corporate Trade Finance technology strategy in partnership with GTB Product Owners and other technology teams.
  • Technical Owner of Corporate Trade Finance Channel.
  • Domain Expertise of Corporate Transaction banking; expert knowledge and exposure of Banking applications/platforms; expertise and hands on experience to facilitate technology solution delivery for the bank especially in CIBG function.
  • Strong technical skills, can cut across multiple groups in a large and complex structured IT setup, specifically act as a bridge between business and technology for high quality delivery of solutions that meet business goals and requirements.
  • Support Bank’s digital journey by enabling Open APIs for Trade Finance.
  • Product vision – able to develop and drive a product vision that takes into consideration Mashreq’s business model as well as the broader competitive environment.
  • Accountable for the appropriateness of technology solutions delivered to, and the ongoing support and stability of, all applications related to the Corporate Digital Banking business.
  • Proactively drive business interests and demand management and deliver business value through technology deliverables. Ensure Technology deliverables deliver to business objectives and budgets.

What You’ll Do More?

  • Optimized technology solution delivery based on business requirements, existing applications, latest technology trends, total cost to operate, scalability and stability. Work with Business, Technology Operations, Technology architects, ISG and vendors to deliver these solutions.
  • Delivery of URFs raised in the bank by corporate business units and ensure the solution delivered meets the business value and adherence to technology standards.
  • Deliver and support business analysis, solution and UAT management.
  • Quality, cost and schedule management of all technology projects and the Corporate Program Management function
  • Minimize cost on technology deliverables by utilizing existing applications and rationalize applications.
  • Ensure technology projects have got approvals from ISG, Technology architecture, hardware sizing and meet all audit controls.
  • Manage and resolve escalations on technology deliveries and problem resolutions due to technology or Business constraints and find solutions with agreed cost / time / quality deviations.
  • Ensure stability of production systems through a structured process of application management – upgrades, patches for security and vulnerability, root causes analyses for issues.
  • Manage and deliver technology Initiatives and maintain stability by following all technology standards and procedures and deliver business value with minimum cost and timelines.
  • Portfolio management of projects within time and budget.

Requirements of Tech Product Specialist Trade Finance

  • Bachelors degree in related field.
  • 15+ Yrs experience in experience with Corporate Internet Banking implementation.
  • Engineer / Postgraduate with 15+ years of experience in Corporate Banking application hands on experience with product designing and implementation.
  • Minimum 10 years in team management, project management, managing core implementation.
  • Cross border team management experience.
  • Experience of Banking Operations in particular Oracle OBDX, OBTF, OBTFPM Core Banking, Trade Loans
  • Experience of managing large scale programs e.g. corporate banking implementation

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Strong business orientation, domain knowledge to comprehend user requirements.
  • Strong organizational, team building and leadership qualities.
  • Knowledge of Trade finance Banking domain is a must.
  • Having Extensive hands-on experience in Trade finance channel solutions.
  • Should have worked on the Product Designing and implementation with respect to Business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC process
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Trade finance and other related Banking channels
  • Excellent Project Management Experience
  • Good verbal and written communication including ability to prepare system documentation.
  • Ability to interpret solution documentation and identify areas of concern and recommend approach.
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to document requirement specs for large scale banking applications.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with business users and project manager.
  • Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces.
  • Ability to complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, functionality, testing and support.
