Tech Audit Associate DP World Dubai

Tech Audit Associate at DP World in Dubai will be responsible to support Technology Audit in planning and performing technology audits and projects. Support Technology Audit’s Quality Assurance Champion to perform quality assurance audit on for Technology Audit files. Support Technology Audit Team to follow up on audit issues. This is an entry level full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 8000 AED to 15000 AED, which may be slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Duties of Tech Audit Associate

• To conduct a broad spectrum of IT audits with focus on IT Process, IT Controls, Application Controls, Web application controls, based on applicable IT standards, good practices and regulations like COBIT, ISO, NIST, GDPR, ITIL, CIS etc.
• To take part in planning IT audit, defining & documenting audit scope, after evaluating key IT & development risks across the group, along with the Senior Manager and SVP of Tech Audit.
• Document and Report findings & recommendations in a concise easily understood manner to relevant parties, with supporting documentation and evidence to backup the findings.
• Develop, execute and maintain relevant IT audit RCMs and work programs and conduct the IT audit in accordance to the program.
• Follow-up O/S Audit Issues on specific prior audit business units as required and provide status data on Open/Closed issues to IA Manager/Deputy/CIA as required.
• To take part in the annual audit risk assessment process.
• Maintain all documentation pertaining to the risk assessment planning, execution and reporting phases.
• Support the Technology Audit team on non-audit related projects and initiatives.
• Support the Technology Audit team in reporting requirements, GIA Lens, Audit Committee reporting, Monthly and Weekly GIA status updates, project reporting etc.

Eligibility Requirements for Tech Audit Associate

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• One Professional qualification preferred e.g. CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other IT audit/ risk related certification.
• 1-2 years post qualification experience desirable.

Skills Desired

• Good communication skills (oral, written, and presentation).
• Ability to work as a team player with flexible hours in split remote working environments.
• Proficiency in languages e.g. Arabic, French, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean an advantage.
• IT auditor will have an analytical mind and expertise in auditing IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
• Will have sound problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a great understanding of current technology.
• Comfortable working in time sensitive situations.
• Flexibility, ability to change priorities quickly, and capacity to handle multiple tasks are often required of this position.
• Report writing and Audit Documentation.
• Understanding of IT Audit process, knowledge of internal IT controls, and how to evaluate the design and operational effectiveness.
