Duties Of Team Leader Planning And Analytics
Reporting and Informing
- Prepare the monthly reports for the management (CEO, COO, SVP Retail) which summarize all performance activities of service stations / Retail Group business divisions quantitatively against plan.
- Ensure integrity of data to guarantee sounds and informative decision making.
- Make sure that the insights and data are transformed into a useful reports or communication and are effectively shared with internal customers
- Provide report on individual partnerships or product or service performance based on pilot performance data or periodic monitoring data.
- Inform division makers on the current and prospective opportunities of a certain venture.
- Perform ad-hoc studies and analysis on service, product, location, region etc.
- To understand metrics, drivers and required variables on performance.
- Allow division makers to have a better understanding of the status and variables.
Planning
- Perform business planning for next year and roll out targets (sales, expansion, new concepts, new products, location, region etc.) based on data and analytics and finalized business plan and budget.
What You Will Do More
External Market Assessment
- Use the most suitable data/information inputs, both internal and external.
- Identify any gaps in data/ information that are relevant to the project.
- Conduct brainstorming session with team members to seek their views on the market status and utilize the information in analysis performance.
- Work with consultants to identify data and needed input to complete the full picture on what are the new trends update in the market and how competitors are reacting.
- Identify ways to analyze different market metrics and variables that can provide answers to current performance gaps.
Analytics Tool Development
- Participate on the development of comprehensive tools and tracking applications using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques.
- Attend partnership and supplier meetings at various stages of negotiations or contracting.
- Evaluate the working methods for tracking performance quantitatively
Process Optimization
- Implement business process improvements and efficiencies that support in the analysis in Retail Group business performance.
- Apply structured problem solving effort and track trends to identify barriers to effective and efficient performance and areas for possible optimization.
Requirements For Team Leader Planning And Analytics
The eligibility requirements for the role of Team Leader Planning And Analytics are as under:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or Management Information Systems Finance.
- 8 years of experience in financial planning and analysis as a management consultant and in retail industry.
- Sound understanding of profit and loss statement and experience in P&L analysis.
