Team Leader L’Olivo at Al Mahara Burj Al Arab  Jumeirah Dubai

An opportunity has arisen for an outlet Team Leader to join the team of L’Olivo at Al Mahara in Burj Al Arab. The job holder will be responsible to oversee and motivate a team of hotel staff to ensure exceptional guest experiences and efficient operations, maintaining high standards of service and productivity.

Responsibilities of Team Leader

• Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts in their respective domain as applicable to your role and as per your department.
• Function to ensure team remains up to date on all directives received from middle or higher management.
• Accountable for all the processes related with Supply chain: vendors registration, creation of codes, price update, etc.
• Ensure all personnel, clients and their guests are greeted and attended to in a professional, efficient, and discreet manner, where applicable.
• Report any operational problems, conflicts, incidents, or any irregularities to the Supervisor. Highlight any technical glitches promptly.
• Deal with guests’ enquiries & complaints professionally, record any relevant details and notify the supervisor.
• Where applicable, undertake regular checks and conduct audits to ensure hospitality services are presented as per Jumeirah highest standards and to client’s satisfaction.
• Deliver exceptional and elevated customer service based on the theme of the property/restaurant etc.
• With hands on knowledge about the property/culture/cuisine associated with the theme.
• Anticipate Customer needs and deliver personalized service exceeding customer expectations thus creating memorable experience.

Requirements of Team Leader

• Food and alcohol handling certifications.
• At least 1 year of experience as a a Team Leader or Head Waiter in a restaurant.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in English and a second language (Italian, German or French) would be an added advantage.
