Job Purpose of A Team Leader Engineering

• To lead and manage a team of engineers.
• To ensure the successful planning, execution, and completion of engineering projects.

Duties of A Team Leader Engineering

• Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
• Motivating and guiding the team to achieve organizational or departmental goals.
• Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
• Delegating tasks to team members.
• Lead the team by example by demonstrating compassion, honesty, and integrity.
• Ensure all personnel, clients and their guests are greeted and attended to in a professional, efficient, and discreet manner, where applicable.
• Brief staff regarding duties before shift starts in Engineering as applicable to your role and as per your department and function.
• To ensure team remains up to date on all directives received from
  middle or higher management.
• Ensure Duty roasters are compiled and advise on changes as applicable.
• Responsible for preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filling systems.
• Responsible for managing stock and inventories, vendors directory, contract agreement where applicable.

Qualification

• High school graduate.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience at a similar facility and position.

Skills Desired 

• Proficient in spoken and written business English.
• Effective communication skills with all levels of colleagues and management at all levels.
