Team Lead Logistics Operations Talabat Abu Dhabi

The Team Lead Logistics Operations role at Talabat will involve managing vendor performance and experience across the country. The vendor performance team lead will take ownership of improving service levels by measuring compliance, finding performance gaps, and taking actions to improve performance. The role will be responsible for overall vendor performance, experience management, and improvement.

Responsibilities of Team Lead Logistics Operations

  • Manage vendor performance tasks and execute strategic projects while delivering on agreed KPIs.
  • Define and execute steps to achieve performance improvement, managing the work-flow in an end-to end manner.
  • Improve vendor training quality and introduce new training modules.
  • Scheduling and carrying out training with restaurant partners, troubleshooting and technical support.
  • Developing action plans with the department manager to address weak areas in need of improvement.
  • Work alongside regional logistics and country sales teams on actions and activities to drive vendor experience and performance forward.
  • Reporting and monitoring of KPIs and performance SLAs.
  • Drive key projects through end-to-end project management for performance improvement across vendor experience and performance areas.
  • Be hands-on with related back office tools and make necessary adjustments based on business needs.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for the role of Team Lead Logistics Operations are as under:

  • Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in operations or logistics food/grocery tech industry.

Skills Desired

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams.
  • G-Suite and MS office suite skills and Data Interpretation Skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, and handle stress.

  • Knowledgeable in operations and performance-related tasks.
  • The ability to quickly adapt to new environment and systems.
