Teaching Assistant at Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi play an important role in creating a positive learning environment for their students. Working under the supervision of a teacher, a Teaching Assistant may work with children on an individual basis, in small groups or with a whole class to embed day to day learning. Teaching Assistants also contribute to monitoring the progress of students and provide feedback to support the teacher in providing a more individualised approach to learning. This is a mid level (full time) position, and the salary range for this role is 8000 AED – 18000 AED.

Job Requirements of Teaching Assistant

• A minimum of a high school diploma level education.
• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar position.
• Experience working with EAL / AEN.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• A sound understanding of teaching best practice.
• High level of fluency in written and spoken English.
• Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, students and parents.
• Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• High level of international and inter cultural understanding.
• An understanding of the British curriculum would be advantageous.
