Job Description
a Talent Acquisition Partner – Contractor at AstraZeneca is responsible for Developing and implementing recruitment strategies in partnership with the Human Resources Business Partners, Senior Business Leaders, and Hiring Managers to identify and fill vacancies with talented individuals with the right capability and skills in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Will involve proactive activity anticipating talent needs, developing and executing sourcing plans, screening, interviewing, pre-selecting, offer management, and managing the hiring administration process.
Responsibilities of Talent Acquisition Partner
- Manage and deliver the end-to-end talent acquisition process and workflow according to the TAQ strategy and global standards.
- Develop strong partnerships with HRBPs and hiring managers to find the right talent for the right role through employer branding initiatives, social media, and relevant recruitment channels.
- Develop positive relationships with internal partners and candidates, building a bench of top talent to meet both current and anticipated business needs.
- Participate in all activities in the recruitment life cycle including, sourcing planning, screening, interviewing, prescreening, offer management, hiring, and onboarding.
- Lead recruitment services delivery against company standards to time to fill, cost, and quality targets and metrics.
- Ensure assigned recruitment services follow Global recruitment and country policies/guidelines.
- Educating business clients in the use of interviewing approaches, recommend resources and techniques for interviewing, assessing, and evaluating applicants.
- Advising internal stakeholders and hiring managers about recruitment responsibilities, legal requirements, and appropriate candidate management techniques, providing resources and tools as needed to educate and improve the skills of individuals involved in the hiring process.
- Develops and implements comprehensive search strategies for specific hiring projects.
- Support the employee value proposition agenda “EVP” to attract the right talent for AZ.
- Proactively source for candidates given future or critical roles.
- Manage third-party providers and vendors according to the procurement standards.
- Consistent reporting & governance on TAQ update.

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 5 year of experience in the talent acquisition function within a multinational organization.
- Experience with hiring nationals.
- Pharmaceutical or FMCG industry experience.
- Progressive recruiting experience particularly in attracting, sourcing and interviewing candidates.
- Successful track record of sourcing and attracting the right talent.
- Experience with campus activation.
Knowledge & Abilities
- Ability to build relationships with customers (hiring managers, HR colleagues and candidates) and suppliers by partnering and consultation.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in teams, collaboration skills.
- Ability to develop, analysis and evaluate objectives, plans and data. Interpret and communicate progress and results.
- Skill in soliciting input and evaluating business, client and candidate needs addressing concerns.
- Ability to influence, challenge and deliver constructive advice, diagnose, and resolve problems and positively influence change.
- Managing relationships with universities & career services desks.
