Job Description

Dubai Ports (DP) World Dubai is currently hiring skilled and motivated candidate for the job role of System Analyst at Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 10000-20000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process. This vacancy was announced on January 20, 2025. Responsibilities of System Analyst

  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to capture business requirements and analyze, design & deliver the project within schedule and cost without compromising on scope and quality.
  • Document business processes using defined CMMI, ITIL process or Internal standards on IT projects, ensuring high quality software implementation standards.
  • Independently executes the demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
  • To ensure any requirements change risks or issues are highlighted in good time to the appropriate boards.
  • Gap analysis between the existing solutions and proposed change.
  • Takes responsibility for all phases of project until successful delivery of the project and user training.
  • Reports periodically to Project/Program Manager/Team Leads on the Project progress.

Requirements for Role of System Analyst

  • Bachelor of Information Technology or equivalent.
  • Certified Technical Professional / Business Analyst Professional / JAVA, ORACLE, .NET Certified professional
  • 5+ years of experience in materials / warehouse operations, programming/system analysis experience in Software development projects and recent years as a Systems Analyst.
  • Experience with large sized IT/Software projects as Systems Analyst.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of inventory management and warehousing process.
  • Expert level knowledge of excel and other Microsoft platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability in utilizing a variety of project management skills to achieve project milestones and on-time completion.
  • Shipping industry / Sea Ports / Logistics / Transportation experience is desirable.
  • Exposure in using Handheld / Mobile devices and its applications.
