Role of System Administrator

Diagnose and resolve problems quickly. Ensure that Apparel’s technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently. He / She will play a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of company’s infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Windows Server, Multi Cloud Servers (OCI, Azure & AWS), and related technologies.

System Administrator Responsibilities

• Manage, configure, and maintain Windows Servers, OCI, AWS cloud and Azure cloud resources.
• Perform regular updates, security hardening, and monitoring of server infrastructure.
• Installing and configuring software, hardware, and networks.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues.
• Ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
• Manage Multi Cloud Infra Structure.
• Implement and manage Active Directory sync for Office 365 to maintain unified usernames and passwords.
• Set up user accounts and workstations.
• Administer email security solutions, including Mimecast, to safeguard communication.
• Manage Office 365 and related collaboration tools to enhance productivity.

Education & Experience

• Certifications such ITIL/MSCE/CCNA/CCNP will be preferred.
• OCI, Azure & AWS Architect Solution Certificatios.
• Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Preferably 8+ years of relevant experience in IT administration.
• Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) Email Security and patch management.

Knowledge & Expertise

• Familiarity with virtualization technologies, including VMware.
• Knowledge of SAN (Storage Area Network) storage solutions.
• Installation and configure VMWare ESXi 6.0, Vcentre 6.0, vSphere and VMotion HA, FT.
• Basic understanding of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting such as Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, POP3, SMTP, FTP, TELNET, http etc.
• Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
• Administrative Knowledge on Multi cloud platforms (OCI, Microsoft Azure & AWS).
