Responsibilities of Swimming Teacher

• Swimming Teachers support, observe, and record the progress of their class.
• They also plan lessons in line with School and Curricula objectives, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning.
• To teach and coach students of all abilities, to develop swimming skills, technique and confidence in the water.

Job Requirements of Swimming Teacher

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education or related subjects.
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• Knowledge of Data Disaggregation, Analysis and Differentiation for Students.
• Recent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
• A proven track record of successful teaching and securing outstanding results through ensuring high quality teaching and learning.
• The ability to use data effectively, to monitor and enhance student progress.
• Successfully completed (and valid certificate) Lifeguard and Swimming courses which is provided by EIAC (Emirates International Accreditation Centre).
• Successfully completed ASCA Level 2 Swimming teacher certification or equivalent.
