Sustainability Alliances & Ecosystems Manager at PwC will play a pivotal role in shaping their firm’s sustainability platform footprint in the Middle East through strategic partnerships and by fostering relationships within the regional sustainability ecosystem. Duties of A Sustainability Alliances & Ecosystems Manager

Strategic direction:

• Set the overall Alliances and one-on-one strategies (covering objectives, scope, joint value proposition, modus operandi).

Strategic alliances development:

• Forge and deepen connections with key tech and public/private sector alliances to enhance go-to-market opportunities focused on sustainability solutions.

Sustainability ecosystem engagement:

• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with entities in the sustainability ecosystem, including industry groups, academic institutions, and non-profits/NGOs, to support our sustainability platform objectives.
•  Maintain a database of potential alliances / partnerships to forge.

Partnership management:

• Deepen existing partnerships and establish new ones, focusing on joint go-to-market strategies that align with our sustainability platform goals.
•  Drive the development of each alliance from first contact to MoU and beyond.

Commercial strategy:

• Convert brand/other partnerships into commercial relationships that yield a positive return on investment, ensuring alignment with our firm’s sustainability platform objectives.

Relationship management:

• Actively maintain and leverage relationships with partners for mutual benefit, ensuring continuous engagement and collaboration.

Competitor intelligence:

• Scan competitive landscape to examine what others are doing in terms of partnerships and alliances.

Internal & external communications:

• Raise awareness internally and externally around our key alliances and partnerships through event participation and the development of Thought Leadership (in collaboration with the Marketing team and our Ideation Centre).

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Sustainability Alliances & Ecosystems Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, business administration or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role.
