Responsibilities of Submittal Engineer

• Review and analyze project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with fire alarm system requirements.
• Prepare submittal packages including product data, samples and shop drawings for review by clients and architects.
• Collaborate with project managers and design teams to develop and modify fire alarm system designs as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records of submittals, approvals and project progress.
• Resolve any issues or discrepancies identified during the submittal process.
• Stay up-to-date with industry codes, regulations and best practices related to fire alarm systems.

Requirements for Role of Submittal Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2-3 year experience in preparing Compliance statement & Technical Submittal for Fire & Life safety systems such as Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, PAVA, Vesda, Central Battery & Addressable self-contained Emergency lighting systems.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in submittal engineering for fire alarm systems.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

• Strong knowledge of UAE Fire code & NFPA 72,101 & 111.
• Knowledge of fire alarm codes, standards, and regulations.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
