Job Description

Student Welfare Head Primary and Secondary at GEMS Founders School AL Mizhar is responsible to lead, manage, co ordinate, maintain, develop, monitor and evaluate the school’s pastoral provision for the House system and the EP/ASA Programme. Responsibilities of Student Welfare Head

  • Articulate a vision for the house system in the context of the school’s ethos and vision.
  • Make a full contribution to the processes of planning, resource management, policy development, and implementation across the school through the effective leadership and management of all aspects of the work of the Houses.
  • Make a full contribution to ensuring high expectations and standards in all aspects of school life with a particular focus on student well-being, pastoral care, and enrichment programs.
  • Work flexibly in supporting the day to day organization and management of the school.
  • Be accountable to the Senior Leadership Team and ultimately the Principal/CEO.
  • Contribute to the school’s Performance Management program where appropriate.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Student Welfare Head are as under:

  • Required Master Degree.
  • Minimum 2 year experience in similar role.
