Additionally, this support role offers the chance to contribute to student welfare and pastoral care at one of Abu Dhabi’s most established British curriculum schools.

About the Role

As Student Supervisor at Al Shohub British School, you will support the pastoral team in planning, implementing, and improving school systems and processes related to attendance, punctuality, and student wellbeing. Furthermore, you will work closely with Assistant Principals, Heads of Year, and Heads of Key Stage while managing pastoral data across multiple school systems. The successful candidate will serve as the main point of contact for trips, visits, extra-curricular activities, and events, coordinating between students, parents, teachers, and authorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff in written, email, phone, and in-person formats
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of students at all times
• Support the Pastoral Team in planning and implementing improvements to school systems
• Ensure all pastoral information and data is accurate, timely, and fit for purpose
• Manage school systems including iSAMS, ePraise, CPOMS, Microsoft Office, and SmartPass
• Serve as the main point of contact for organising ECAs, trips, activities, and events
• Act as interpreter at parent-student meetings as required
• Assist with preparation for end-of-term celebrations, awards, and parent-teacher conferences

Requirements

• School leavers certificate or educational equivalent with English and Mathematics to GCSE level
• Relevant experience as a front of house assistant, secretary, or administration assistant
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Computer literacy including Microsoft Office, Canva, and school management systems
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills
• Passion for education and commitment to professional development
