The Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager at Miral Experiences in Locations Miral Experiences LLC, Abu Dhabi, 128717, UAE will develop and deliver the sourcing strategies geared to leverage on group spend, maximize profitability, supplier performance and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness through the supply chain. Candidate will be the subject matter expert in their fields of procurement who will provide strong commercial and supply chain counsel to Miral leadership for the categories under the responsibility of this role. Job holder will establish robust and sustainable contract management techniques to maximize supplier performance and contract effectiveness. Negotiate suitable contracts on a total cost of acquisition basis to achieve high levels of value for money at minimal commercial and operational risk to the group. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-35000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager

• Will play a pivotal role with the transformation of procurement within Miral and deliver of optimized procurement processes and systems.
• Deliver a category management approach to procurement which will migrate the department from transaction based too long-term strategic partnership-based procurement.
• Develop, lead and deliver category and sub-category strategies and procurement projects within the overall category, to ensure that savings and efficiencies are achieved.
• Develop and deploy expertise within a particular area of spend (category) as required to achieve optimum value for money solutions. And provide support to departments as requires to ensure the best interests of the organization are protects and promote.
• Leverage on Miral group spend, consolidation opportunities, supply chain re-engineering and value engineering.
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers that contribute to performance management, build capacity. Enhance control of the supply chain, and promote a partnering approach to managing contracts.
• Support the development of the contract process, ensuring robust contracts are established and are compliant with policy, DOA and statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement related negotiations which fall outside current strategies to ensure savings; value for money and efficiencies are secured. And that coaching and mentoring is deploy to the business in the process.
• Provide support, advice and guidance to managers acting as an ambassador for the development of procurement within the organization.
• Contribute to the provision of internal and external training to develop supply chain and strategic sourcing understanding.
• Work collaboratively as a lead with the Procurement Operations team to develop effective and efficient practices through improved supply chain utilization.

Requirements for Role of Strategic Sourcing Senior Manager

• Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (or studying towards)
• Degree or Diploma level ideally business or finance related.
• 7-10 years of experience in Procurement and ideally within Strategic Sourcing or Category Management position
• Experience practicing strategic procurement overseas in the area of engineering (capex, general services, rides)
• Experienced in supply market research & analysis, supplier identification & qualification, tender process, contract management and setting of tangible and robust performance criteria.

• Ability to identify commercial and operational risk and construct and negotiate contractual SOW which effective mitigate these risks.
• Fluent in verbal and written English & Arabic language.
• Strong analytic skills base.
