Responsibilities of Storekeeper
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and supplies.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to meet operational needs.
- Monitor and track inventory movement, including stock additions and withdrawals.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of products within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other departments to fulfill internal requisitions.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Generate and maintain accurate records of stock transactions using inventory management software.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers, team members, and management.
- Administer payroll and payroll deductions
- Settle merchandise purchases, including special orders
- Receive, store, and distribute merchandise
Requirements of Storekeeper
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in logistics or supply chain management is a plus.
- Minimum 1 – 2 Years of experience in relevant role
Skills and knowledge Desired
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory management software and proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items as needed.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with safety and storage regulations.
