Hotels/Restaurant industry is currently looking for a detail oriented and organized individual to join their team as a Storekeeper in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining a well organized and efficient storage space.
Responsibilities of Storekeeper
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of goods.
- Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Prepare and pack items for dispatch, including proper documentation.
- Monitor and track inventory movements using relevant software or manual systems.
- Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies or shortages.
- Collaborate with procurement and other departments to fulfill internal requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area, adhering to safety and accessibility standards.
- Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movement, and related activities.
Requirements of Storekeeper
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience of less than 1 year as a Storekeeper or similar role.
Skills and Knowledge Desired
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good physical fitness for handling and lifting of packages.
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems.
