Storekeeper Consumer Goods Industry Dubai – 08 June 2024

The Consumer Goods industry in Dubai is currently seeking candidate for the position of Storekeeper to join them. This is a mid career, full time role. The salary for this role ranges from 3001 AED to 3500 AED which may be slightly negotiable during the interview. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their resumes for consideration.

Responsibilities of Storekeeper

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventory.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, including receipts and withdrawals.
• Prepare and process requisitions, orders, and transfers.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and replenishment of stock.
• Keep the warehouse or storage area clean, organized, and safe.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory management systems and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Requirements of Storekeeper

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Proven experience of 1-2 years as a Storekeeper or similar role.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.
