Responsibilities

  • Keep accurate records of materials and tools.
  • Check incoming supplies for quality and count.
  • Note any faulty items on delivery slips.
  • Work with site teams to deliver materials on time.
  • Use items with short shelf life first.
  • Store gas and fuel safely away from other items.
  • Track tools and safety gear given to workers.
  • Help move equipment and log calibration status.
  • Talk to site managers about stock needs.
  • Follow company safety and quality rules.
  • Help with inventory checks and audits.
  • Update stock records in management systems.
  • Talk clearly with Procurement and Construction teams.
  • Keep the storage area neat and organized.

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent is needed. A warehouse management course or IOSH/OSHA certificate is helpful but not required.

Experience

2-3 years of storekeeping, ideally in construction or engineering. Those with relevant internships can apply.
