Transguard Group presently has a job opening for an experienced candidate for the position of a Store Operations Finance Specialist in Dubai. The selected candidate will drive optimal performance (cost, fulfillment, quality, cash) and project execution and is responsible for driving technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, process simplification, and operational excellence to deliver accurate actual financial reporting and analysis.

Duties of A Store Operations Finance Specialist

  • Responsible for general accounting and policy application & process administration for all cycles including inventory, revenue recognition, receivables/payables, and intercompany.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures.
  • Consults People Leader or more senior team members for issues outside of defined parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues.
  • Develop strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE.
  • Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.
  • Handles simple data entry work requiring face value check and correction.
  • Develop in depth knowledge of Storefront Finance and ERP operating unit.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
  • Focus on monitoring of KPIs like aged WIP, quarantine, inventory, and payable balances.
  • Support annual External STAT/GAAP Audit activities.
  • Support all Physical Inventory activities.
  • Utilizes technical expertise and judgement to solve problems.
  • Leverages technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems.
  • May use multiple internal sources outside of team to arrive at decisions.

Eligibility Requirements for Role of Store Operations Finance Specialist

The eligibility requirements for role of Store Operations Finance Specialist are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an Accredited College or University in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with at least 3 years in a financial role.
  • Preferably experience in Manufacturing or similar industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and support multiple projects simultaneously.
