Job Description

GMG is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of their supermarket in the UAE. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient store environment, driving sales, managing staff, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic individual looking to make an impact in a fast-paced retail environment. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 8000-17000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Store Manager

  • Manage the overall operations of the supermarket, ensuring high standards of customer service, cleanliness, and organization.
  • Lead, motivate, and supervise store employees, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and product displays.
  • Monitor sales performance and take action to meet or exceed targets.
  • Ensure the store meets all health, safety, and legal compliance standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and ensure satisfaction.
  • Handle employee scheduling, performance evaluations, and team building.
  • Develop and implement promotional strategies to boost sales and customer engagement.
  • Maintain effective communication with suppliers and vendors.
  • Regularly analyze sales data and customer feedback to drive improvements.

Requirements for Role of Store Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 2 years experience as a Store Manager or Assistant Manager in a retail supermarket or similar environment.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of supermarket operations, inventory management, and merchandising.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and public holidays as required.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
