Job Description

GMG is looking for a proactive and experienced Store Incharge to manage and oversee daily operations at their hypermarket and supermarket locations in the UAE. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient store operations, maintain high standards of customer service, and drive sales growth while fostering a productive and motivated team environment. This is an Intermediate level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-6000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Store Incharge

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
  • Ensure optimal stock levels by monitoring inventory, placing orders, and minimizing wastage.
  • Lead, supervise, and train the store team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Plan and execute effective merchandising and promotional strategies to maximize sales.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.
  • Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, stock, and staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and UAE regulations.
  • Schedule staff shifts and ensure adequate staffing during peak hours.

Requirements for Role of Store Incharge

  • High School Diploma,
  • 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role in a hypermarket or supermarket.
  • Experience working in the UAE retail sector is highly desirable.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of retail operations, inventory control, and sales analysis.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
